Ken Willinger's video camera has been his passport to major world events. With more than twenty years experience photographing important international stories, he has provided his clients with extraordinary footage from almost every continent. Ken was hired by CNN before that network produced its first newscast. One year later, he was one of three staffers covering Europe from CNN's London Bureau. NBC soon hired Ken to work in its Beirut Bureau. There he photographed major stories in the ongoing Middle East conflict. Later, Ken was assigned to Moscow where he covered Glasnost and Perestroika and, ultimately, the demise of Communist Russia.

In the late 1980s, Ken left NBC and relocated to Washington, DC. He began freelancing for the BBC, ARD, CTV, NBC, Discovery and the World Monitor, an international news magazine program produced by the renowned Christian Science Monitor. The Monitor offered Ken a senior staff photographer position and he was off again, traveling the world shooting long format news magazine and documentary programs.

Ken resumed freelancing for good in 1994. He DPs for all the major network and magazine programs. Ken specializes in long form documentary projects, high-end corporate work and national public service spots. He has been recognized many times for his achievements including a national EMMY in 2003. Ken is a thoughtful, personable professional whose love of his craft is evident in every frame he shoots.
